MUSSELS WITH MARINARA SAUCE

Nothing better than to enjoy the rich flavour the sea has to offer. A quick, simple and delicious recipe you’ll love to cook to your family, friends and of course, yourself. If you’re a seafood lover, this easy recipe will make your palate really happy 🙂

Time to cook: 25 minutes   –  Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:

1200 grm medium mussels

1/2 teaspoon Sweet paprika

1 tablespoons wheat flour

1 medium onion

4 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 glass of white wine

20 grm parsley

2 garlics

Salt and pepper

Fish stock

PREPARATION:

Clean the mussels , removing the beards and cleaning the shells. Peel and dice finely the onion and garlic. Then in a deep pan with 2 olive oil teaspoons, lightly browned both.

Add the sweet paprika and flour, mix all together. Add the white wine and let evaporated the alcohol. Next add the boiling  fish stock and boil for 10 minutes until obtain a textured sauce, then add salt and pepper.

Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley. Next add the clean mussels, cover and cook  until they open.

Served in a bowl and add the rest of chopped parsley.
